Service Manager Basics
OSSera’s Service Manager provides tools for users to define, plan and monitor their services. Service Manager works with Managed Objects (MOs), which model all parts of managed physical devices or logical concepts of services such as SMS, WAP etc., as objects. In addition, MOs can represent correlators or rules that define how to process alarms in service impact analysis.
Every object has specific attributes or properties associated with it. Objects in Service Manager are synthesized into classes. Classes are typically generic types of resources or services and managed objects are specific instances of the classes.
